This bullying has got to stop !!! Schools need to have a no bully policy like they do about fighting. No matters who started it or who beat up who, both kids are suppose to be suspended or expelled in most counties.
Parents have got to step up and discuss how wrong bullying is and monitor their social media. Know your kids and how they’re treating others. These young stupid boys decided to be mean and in their eyes be a bad ass. Now they’ve murdered a kid. Kids are committing suicide from being bullied. How many more of our kids have to die before this gets better ??? Prayers go out to all these families involved, especially Diego’s family ????????????

This is so sad and so avoidable. It’s hard to believe that the smartest boys were the bullies. There should be rules of decorum at every school that no one insults or touches – another person without consequences. And cameras need to be everywhere for all students safety.
They need to be taught in first grade and every grade after, that every person has personal rights not to be taunted in word or touch. This should be taught at home but families are failing or this would not have happened. Will this teach a lesson to these two boys who are now murders.

I totally feel for the student, parents, and anyone else suffering bullying. I was bullied in middle school for three solid years, 6-8 grade, not only by peers but a gym teacher. I was physically abused on a daily basis as well as sexually assaulted. When my parents said something the school just denied that anything was going on. My parents were hesitant to push too hard because they worked in the neighboring school district and were afraid of their jobs (Dad was a teacher). What I didn’t realize at the time was that all that abuse would affect me for the rest of my life as an adult. What angers me is when you are a kid you are helpless unless an adult(s) helps you. More often than not no one wants to do anything about abuse/bullying, but then the victim grows up into an adult and society expects that person to function as a normal citizen. I wish it was that easy, that when you grow up and get out of school the problems just go away too, but many problems and dysfunctions follow a victim throughout his/her life, and that’s the real tragedy… just as bad as murder.

This is all caused by the way children are being raised now. They are not taught to respect others, not even adults, teachers or police. They have no consequences, even when the parents acknowledge their wrongdoings, but more often than not claim their child would not or did not do anything.

This bullyism is just as the same thing as an harrassment at the workplace. There are laws regarding workplace harassment,so therefore the school such has the same laws. Every three months there such be video education on bullying on it consequences.
