Apple just unveiled its new products bathe in bright colors, just in time for spring.
The tech giant surprised fans with their new 24-inch iMacs that come in seven colors, and a new purple iPhone 12.
The new line of iMac is only 11.5 millimeters thick and will be sold for $1299 to $1499 starting in May.
Apple CEO Tim Cook also introduced “Air Tag,” a new accessory with the size of a nickel, which will allow users to locate their small, and easy-to-misplace items through Apple’s “Find My” app.
The company collaborated with Hermes for a key chain that the accessory can fit into. How much the high-end leather key chain will cost remains to be announced, but Air Tag will cost about $29 each.
During the event, the new and improved IPad Pro was also unveiled. Ipad Pro is now powered by an M1 processor that also powers the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac Mini.
According to Apple, the chip will deliver a massive leap in the new iPad Pro’s performance in terms of speed and battery life.
A report from NY Post that the iPad Pro, which includes a Liquid Retina XDR display, will cost $799 for an 11-inch model, and $1099 for a 12.9-inch model, and will begin shipping in the second half of May. Preorders will start on April 30.
Apple also introduced an in-app subscription feature in Apple Podcasts that allows users to subscribe to content from the app for easier access, and extra perks, like ad-free and bonus content.
Cook also revealed the new Apple TV 4K that features an A12 Bionic chip, and the use of your iPhone’s camera and proximity sensor to adjust your TV’s screen colors.
Starting Tuesday, Apple Card will add Apple Card Family to allow anyone in the family over the age of 13 to use the credit card.
