HERE’S THE SCOOP:
- The frontwoman of the cover band Brass Against gave concertgoers quite a shock when she urinated on a man’s face mid-song.
- 36-year-old Sophia Urista told the crowd that she needed to relieve herself, instructing a man to come onstage and lie down.
- Brass Against later issued an apology on Twitter.
Attendees of the Welcome to Rockville festival got quite an eyeful during the cover band Brass Against’s performance.
Brass Against was in the middle of a rendition of “Wake Up” by Rage Against the Machine when their frontwoman announced that she needed to relieve herself.
“Get my man with the can on his head ready, ’cause we’re going to bring him onstage and I-ma p—s in this motherf—er’s mouth,” Sophia Urista told the crowd.
“I gotta pee, and I can’t make it to the bathroom,” she said. “So we might as well make a show out of it.”
That’s when the 36-year-old invited a fan onstage and told him to lie down. She then pulled down her pants and urinated on his face while in mid-song.
Festival-goers and people watching the clips online called the move “disgusting.”
The New York-based band took to Twitter to apologize for the incident.
“We had a great time last night at Welcome to Rockville,” the tweet read. “Sophia got carried away. That’s not something the rest of us expected, and it’s not something you’ll see again at our shows. Thanks for bringing it last night, Daytona.”
