- Climate activist Greta Thunberg made a sarcastic send-off message to President Donald Trump on Wednesday.

- Both Trump and Thunberg have engaged in a sarcastic verbal dispute.
In a sarcastic farewell to President Donald Trump on Wednesday, climate activist Greta Thunberg took to Instagram and poked fun at the outgoing president’s departure, using the own words Trump used against her.
“He seems like a very happy old man looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!” Thunberg’s caption read, together with a photo of the president.
In September 2019, the teenager criticized international leaders for failing to use their platform in addressing the issues on climate change during the U.N. Climate Action Summit.
Back then, Trump, who is known as a non-believer of climate change, had poked fun at the 2019 TIME Person of the Year.
“She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future! So nice to see!”
The former president, who is now permanently banned from Twitter, also taunted the teenager’s achievements and her climate change advocacies.
“So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!” the president wrote then in response to a congratulatory tweet.
Last November, the 18-year-old Swedish also gave Trump a dose of his own medicine after tweeting “STOP THE COUNT!” citing the 2020 presidential election.
“So ridiculous. Donald must work on his Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Donald, Chill!” she wrote.
Thunberg also took to Twitter on Wednesday to change her bio using Trump’s description of her: “A teenager working on her anger management problem. Currently chilling and watching a good old fashioned movie with a friend.”
As she became popular in recent years, Thunberg has engaged with Trump in a verbal tussle several times.
