WHAT’S BEING CLAIMED:
- The ‘world’s most identical twins’, 33-year-old Anna and Lucy DeCinque told an Australian TV show that their mom wanted them to have babies at the same time with their boyfriend whom they’re sharing.
- They also revealed that they wanted to marry their boyfriend but polygamy is banned in Australia.
- They say that despite people thinking that having a shared boyfriend is disgusting, it’s something that works for both of them.
Anna and Lucy DeCinque, dubbed as the “world’s most identical twins,” have made a startling confession on Australia’s ‘Today’ TV show — their mom convinced them to get pregnant at the same time with their shared boyfriend.
The 33-year-old sisters from Perth, Western Australia are both dating 35-year-old Ben Byrne, a mechanic, whom they met in 2012. They both said it’s going to be a challenge, and a lot of pressure is on Ben.
The Sun reported previously that the siblings wanted to marry Byrne but polygamy is banned in Australia.
“If we can change the government we would love to marry Ben. This is what works for us. People need to get that, we aren’t hurting us,” they told “Today”.
Before the pair started dating Byrne, they said they were honest with him about what they wanted.
“We were upfront that we came as a package, and he insisted that was fine with him,” said Anna. “We knew some guys might think it was kinky to date twins and see us as a trophy, so we had to feel sure that Ben genuinely liked both of us before we agreed to meet him.”
Lucy also explained that Ben treats them equally and that they never feel jealous because they know Ben loves them the same.
“We all sleep together, but it’s not like a threesome. Some people say it’s disgusting, but it works for us,” added Lucy.
They also told the show that after having spent $175,000 on surgery they have decided to go back to a ‘natural look’ saying, “We’re really happy with how we are looking right now.”
Back in November, the twins told Australia’s New Idea magazine how they got bullied on social media as they became more popular. They were getting called everything from ‘plastic Barbie dolls’ to ‘fish lips’. Even though they blocked the comments, they admitted that deep down, it was very hurtful.
“We wanted the biggest everything especially lips. Now we realize they were too big,” they both said.
They revealed that they’ve thrown away their hair and eyelash extensions and stopped filling their lips with fillers.
Last year, they confessed to having 14 surgeries in 14 days. It started with Anna noticing moles on Lucy’s back that ‘needed removing’. It got to the point where at “the first sign of something we don’t like, we saved to fix it.” Their surgeries included mole removal, pixel lasering, lip filling, tattooing and eyebrow tattooing.
