Both celebrities are UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors, supporting activities that provide aid to children around the world.

With Bloom as the dad’s last name, isn’t it cute to choose a flower name?They named their daughter Daisy Dove Bloom.


“Welcome to the world, Daisy Dove Bloom! We are honoured to introduce Goodwill Ambassadors @KatyPerry and @OrlandoBloom’s new bundle of joy,” UNICEF captioned the announcement and posted a picture of the couple holding their daughter’s hand.

The couple mentioned in their statement that the organization is “doing whatever it takes to make sure every expecting mother has access to a trained health worker and access to quality healthcare.”

From there, the couple encouraged others to support the organization’s cause and started a donation page to celebrate their daughter.

“By supporting them, you are supporting a safe start to life and reimagining a healthier world for every child. We hope your ♥️ can bloom with generosity,” their statement continues.

UNICEF shared this online and dedicated their official social media account’s bio to the couple’s daughter. “Join Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom to support the most precious gift: a healthy child,” the bio reads.

Both celebrities reposted their family’s photo on their social media accounts. The birth announcement was first announced in March. Perry hinted about the pregnancy in the music video premiere for “Never Worn White.” Towards the closing moments of the video posted online, the singer surprised everyone with her baby bump.

“See us in sixty years with a full family tree (I do),” she sang.

This announcement came about a year after the announcement of their engagement on 14 February 2019. Perry entitled her recent single “Daisies,” which was released earlier this year.
