After posting horrifying photos of their final moments, Bhanwarlal Mundhan, 23, and his girlfriend found dead of gunshot wounds in an apparent suicide. The photos were taken in the village of Lilasar in northern India.
It was reported that the two had been in love for several years but that the girl, who has not been identified as of this writing, was forced by her family to marry another man two months ago.
She went to Mundhan’s village ten days prior to the incident and believed they have gone to a farm and got drunk on that disastrous day.
According to reports, Mundhan uploaded fifteen photos, six videos and three audio clips to social media early in the morning. Some of the photos show the pair posing with guns pointed at each other’s head.
In one of the audio clips, Mundhan asked the police to not “trouble” anyone during their investigation as it was in their own accord to commit suicide.
He was also believed to have called his brother and told him he and his girlfriend are committing suicide.
They then shot each other to death before his brother could even warn the police and find them.
Reports said the bodies were found the next morning alongside bottles of water and beer.
A photo of the scene shows both of them lying on the ground with blood flowing from the woman’s head next to a bottle of water and a bottle of beer.
Team of officials led by local police superintendent Rashi Dogra Dudi checked on the scene and started an investigation into the incident.
A post-mortem report says both died of bullet wounds to the head.
The investigation into the case is still ongoing.
