WHAT’S BEING CLAIMED:
- While on vacation at the Bahamas with her family, siblings and partner, Torrance, California resident, Jordan Lindsey, 21, became a victim of a vicious attack by multiple sharks.
- Her father, Michael Lindsey recounted that the attack happened so fast that nobody had the chance to even shout or do anything.
- According to officials, they believed that three sharks attacked Lindsey who sustained serious injuries including a severed arm and multiple bites to various parts of her body.
The family of a woman from California witnessed her horrible death in the Bahamas as she was attacked and killed by sharks. According to reports, they were unable to save her because the incident happened too fast.
ABC News reported that 21-year-old Jordan Lindsey of Torrance, California was bitten by numerous sharks while on vacation near Rose Island with her parents, siblings and girlfriend.
Her father, Michael Lindsay recalled that her wife was only a few feet away from Jordan when the shark attacked. He added that his wife said no one said or yelled anything because everything happened suddenly and so fast.
Three sharks were believed by authorities to have attacked Jordan. Officials confirmed that her right arm was severed and suffered multiple bites to her left arm, both legs and buttocks.
“My wife got to Jordan and pulled Jordan to shore by herself,” related Michael. “The medical staff said they still had to do an autopsy.”
Based from her injuries, Jordan was pronounced dead on June 26 shortly after arriving at the hospital. According to officials, it remained unclear which species of sharks were involved in the deadly attack.
Her dad told ABC News that her daughter was such a great person. “We already miss her terribly.”
Jordan who transferred from Santa Monica College was a communication major at Loyola Marymount University, said ABC News.
