KarlaPassengers on a recent SkyWest flight from Los Angeles to Houston experienced an unexpected delay when two flight attendants got into an argument and refused to work with each other. The argument reportedly began when a male flight attendant allowed a passenger to switch seats with her husband, who was seated in coach.
However, the female flight attendant did not agree and had a problem with it, leading to a dispute between the two. The argument escalated to the point where the male flight attendant started yelling at the female flight attendant, causing her to cry and refuse to fly with him.
The incident was documented by Ashley Brewer, an ESPN anchor who was on the flight and tweeted about the situation. Brewer’s video on TikTok received over 70,000 views and 300 comments from people commiserating with her. SkyWest, the Utah-based airline operating the flight, apologized for the delay and conducted an internal investigation.
Eventually, a new set of flight attendants was put on the plane, and the flight was able to take off over an hour later than scheduled.

These unprofessional employees should both be fired immediately and all the passengers should be issued a refund for their tickets.

A seat filled is a seat filled, of course a female has a problem with it. Modern women are all about power and control, even small things represent a situation she wants to “run” god forbid a part of the patriarchy made a choice without her estrogen being involved!

This is highly “sexist” . . . but true. And it’s getting worse.

It is true in this ONE instance, but not in all instances. A seat filled is a seat filled, both seats were paid for, and by the same couple, presumably the same bank account. Both passengers agreed to the switch. The pilot should have stepped in, if he was there, and told the attendants to let it happen and to shut up about it. Petty bickering is never professional, and bad for the passengers’ confidence in the airline if they see it.

Lady passenger must have wanted to give her spouse more leg room by switching seats. Jerks come in all walks of life. That family could have averted this snafu by switching at the boarding gate.

Your right Doug that should have been a before thought on their part, but who would have thought the attendants had that little self-contol. I don’t know, maybe they had issues already and now they ended up on “Candid Camera”. Showing my age–LOL
