The American fast-food chain is taking over a hotel and resort in Palm Springs, California to recognize the brand’s super fans.
It is a limited-time offer according to the restaurant but the Yum Brands did not specify how long it would run the hotel. Reports say reservations will start in June and guests can start checking in on Aug. 9.
The hotel will be called The Bell and will feature a gift shop that sells exclusive Taco Bell-themed apparel and an on-site salon with Taco Bell-inspired nail art and hair styling services.
Marisa Thalberg, Taco Bell’s Chief Brand Officer, said that the venture for a Taco Bell-themed hotel is intended to be playful and fun. Taco Bell aims for the guests to experience an “unparalleled experience,” and decided to house the Bell in a fully operational hotel.
“I have often quipped that Taco Bell is the fast fashion of food. We have our everyday classics, but then we’re always introducing these cool limited-edition experiences to do something new and different,” Thalberg said in an interview.
Those who want to celebrate their wedding at The Bell can experience a Taco Bell-themed ceremony for $600 at its Las Vegas Cantina flagship location. To date, Taco Bell has had over 165 wedding registrations, according to CNBC. Teaming up with retailer Forever 21, the brand will sell clothes with its logo and imagery.
This isn’t the first time that Taco Bell has teamed up with another business establishment. It has partnered with Airbnb to reward four people with an overnight stay at a location in Canada in 2016.
