A tiny home in the wealthy Boston suburb of Newton just sold for $315,000.

The 250-square-foot home was on the market for about a month and went for far less than the original asking price of almost $450,000.

The listing described the house as an “adorable tiny studio home” with a “completely open living space,” with a loft and “ready to finish” basement,” a renovated bathroom, and electrical upgrades.

The Boston area has seen the sale of several nontraditional homes lately. In September, Boston’s famous 10-foot-wide Skinny House sold for $1.25 million, and a fire-damaged home sold for almost $400,000.
