WHAT’S BEING CLAIMED:
- Comedian Pete Davidson’s stalker was arrested in his home for trespassing.
- Days before, the stalker claimed that they got married and had set up a production company.
- Davidson’s lawyers were still considering legal and equitable actions for the bogus statement and now, harassment and trespassing.
Michelle Mootreddy’s admiration for comedian Pete Davidson has gone extreme. Earlier, she issued a press release that she married Davidson. The release said that the two have formed a production company.
But Davidson’s lawyers quickly denied the announcement in a statement and said that not a word of the press release is true.
The statement said: “Mr. Davidson has no idea who this person is. We are investigating and considering all legal and equitable remedies.”
In the press release, Mootreddy asserted that Davidson and her were childhood friends, they got married, and launched the production company, Bodega Cats Presents.
The company was set up “to increase diversity & belonging in the entertainment industry by curating experiences that have a cultural & social impact.”
In the now deleted bogus production company’s website, Mootreddy claimed that she has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Rochester. She allegedly graduated in 2017.
After having her lies exposed, Moontreddy was not yet content. She showed up at Davidson’s residence Annandale. She knocked on the door about 3:30 p.m. and was answered by Davidson’s mother who promptly told her to leave. Davidson was not at home that time.
After pretending to leave and walking along the sides of the house, Mootreddy managed to enter the home through a backdoor.
When the police came and arrested her, she said, she has “a telepathic love connection” with the comedian.
Authorities have charged Mootreddy with two counts of stalking and criminal trespassing. She also faces two violations, including one for harassment.
Davidson’s representative has declined to comment on the trespassing incident.
