Hotel Zed, a hotel chain in British Columbia, Canada, is offering a special deal for all couples who are planning to do some “baby-making” on Valentine’s Day.
The “Nooner” promo is available on 14 February from 10 am to 2 pm at hotels in Victoria and Kelowna for all couples looking for some daytime playtime. The rates for this fairly scandalous deal start at $59 CAD (about $45 USD), CNN reported.
A wonderful treat to an outdoor hot tub or a game of ping-pong comes with access to a hotel room for four hours for guests who cash in on this discounted rate.
This year, according to CNN, Hotel Zed is doubling its “Nooner” special now with a “baby manufacturer promo”. The new and additional promotion invites couples who wound want a baby into their lives for the next nine months. Should they get pregnant after their “Nooner” visit, the couple would be entitled to have a free stay for the next 18 years at any Zed hotel. You’ll just have to wait until November to be able to avail of the promo.
The hotel also extends the offer to all those who want children through surrogacy or adoption. This is to place an inclusive marketing strategy that would include all couples. The promo, sadly, is not extended to couples that want to remain childless or those who already have kids and do not want to add another.
“We know that the stork can take many routes to bring a baby into your family. As long as a new child has been welcomed into the family nine months after your Nooner, we’ll be celebrating with you,” as per the Hotel Zed website.
The management does not seem to think that the discount and promos will be overly taken advantage of by people.
“I don’t think we’re going to convince someone who’s not thinking about having a baby to have a baby. But if you’re serious about expanding your family, why wouldn’t you try?”
Hotel Zed CEO, Mandy Farmer said in her interview with CNN. “If you succeed, you’ll win a way to celebrate your baby’s conception for the next 18 years,” she adds.
The management further encourages soon to be parents to start the road to parenting in style: in a bright, colorful, and funky hotel.
